Dr. Chenard is truly passionate about the field of orthodontics. His inspiration to become an orthodontist started at an early age when he had braces himself. The combined interest in biological sciences and craftsmanship led him down the path to becoming an orthodontist. He truly enjoys his job, working with his team, and most of all, to be able to spend time with his patients. His philosophy is to be able to provide the best orthodontic care in a positive and friendly environment. He is a perfectionist by nature, and he applies this quality in helping to deliver you a customized smile that will last a lifetime.
Outside the practice Dr. Chenard enjoys mountain biking, spearfishing, and surfing. You can find him and the classic VW tooth bus around town and at the beach on the weekends. Dr. Chenard loves to travel, and he has combined this with his passion for dentistry. Even though he is an orthodontics specialist, he has maintained his general dentistry skills in order to provide free services to those in need of dental care. He has served as a volunteer dentist in Mexico, Costa Rica, and Nepal. He continues to donate his time by doing general dentistry in Ensenada with UC San Diego’s flying samaritans.
